Senator Kevin Parker to Emphasize Record of Results In
Democratic Debate on Inside City Hall
New York, NY –Watch Senator Kevin Parker
(D-Brooklyn) in a debate with his opponents live on NY1’s
Inside City Hall with Dominic Carter on Friday, August 22nd at 7pm.
The Senator will explain the choices at stake in the Democratic
Primary on September 9th. The Senator will emphasize his record
on issues important to his constituents, including immigration,
affordable housing, healthcare, and small business development.
Senator Parker has backed his commitment to the 21st district with
a robust record of service. His tenure has been one of taking action,
being proactive on issues and providing leadership in the district
and in Albany.
In January 2007, Senator Parker was appointed Democratic Whip
of the Senate. Senator Parker remains the ranking member on the
Energy and Telecommunications Committee and a member of the Finance
Committee. As Chair of the Democratic Task Force Alternative Energy
Futures, he continues to work and develop a plan that will provide
affordable, pollutant free energy for the State that ultimately
will be an investment in the health of our families and our future.
